On November 27 in Pyay township, Khin Ri, chairman of the military-backed USDP Party, stated during a party campaign rally that if the new government does not cooperate with the military, it will collapse the next day. He emphasized that in the elections, voters should choose parties that are aligned with the military, because a new government that is not in harmony with the military will not last. Khin Ri said that the country needs experienced groups and individuals capable of rebuilding the nation, who can work effectively and have proven competence. Similarly, as the election approached, Military Chief Min Aung Hlaing, on December 1 in Pyin Oo Lwin, officially urged civil servants to vote only for candidates who can work cooperatively with the military. He emphasized that voters should select parties or representatives who can safeguard the nation and regional interests, uphold their responsibilities, and maintain strong alignment with the military, which is portrayed as the most stable institution in the country.
